Car Raffle
September 8, car raffle tickets went on sale! Our non profit wing, EduStar Performing Arts, Society, Inc. is currently participating in a fund raiser for student scholarships and to raise monies for performance expenses. Last May, we had the pleasure of presenting "Annie Jr" which was a great experience for our kids. We had a cast of 21 kids and they presented 6 performances to sold out audiences. This May we are presenting "Aladdin Jr" and funds are needed to help defray expenses for this performance. The 1st prize is a 2026 Nissan Rogue with the drawing being held on May 16, 2026. On May 8-10 and again on May 15-17, we will be presenting "Aladdin Jr." Come and join us for a fun filled evening. We will visit the Royal Palace gates in the city of Agrabah to witness an amazing journey of intrigue and love.
The following dates are ones you don't want to miss:
Workshop audition prep especially for brand new students to acting will occur on Sunday, February 8 starting at 3 pm. Other interested persons are also invited. FREE!
Audition material pickup also starts on February 8 along with audition sign up times for the following week.
Auditions begin on Saturday, February 14 and Sunday, February 15 at 3 pm.
Aladdin rehearsals will start on Friday, February 20 from 5:30-7:30 pm. The entire rehearsal schedule will be distributed on Friday, February 20.
Age requirements: 8 to 18 years old
Drama Classes (Required?)
Drama classes are required if your child has had no classes or prior acting experience. The need for this class will be determined on an individual basis. Otherwise, classes are optional.
Tuition: $175.00, one time cost or 3 payments of $60.00
Non class enrollee's production cost: $160.00 one time cost. Or 3 payments of $57.00 (No more production costs except for minimal costuming costs).
Classes begin on Thursday, February 19 and ends Thursday, April 30. Class time starts at 5:30 pm (more details to follow).
